Description
The Paper Man, Viper's sixth album, could be viewed as a companion album to You'll Cowards Don't Even Smoke Crack, being released around two months later. Continuing the trend of hazy cloud rap beats, but returning to some sample-based beats from previous albums, The Paper Man is the unsung hero of Viper's early discography. It satisfies all moods, with the front-end being just as slow as You'll Cowards' back-end for those cloudy nights, and the middle-stretch might be one of my favourite song runs of his next to The Hiram Clarke Hustler (his next album).
